July 1st lesson

Dear students, Today you will deliver a persuasive presentation in pairs or groups of three or four. As usual, you should speak for at least three minutes per person. If your presentation includes images, charts or graphs, or the results of a survey, it may be more interesting. Kind regards, Chris Elvin Feedback

Dear students, Today you will have a student-led activity and then you will be placed in groups with like-minded people according to how you answered the social survey from June 10th. What do you have in common with your group? Choose a social issue that you are concerned about and that you all agree about in your group. Next week you should deliver a persuasive presentation about one social issue. Kind regards, Chris Elvin

June 17th lesson

Dear students, Today you will have a student-led activity. After that there will be a chance for students who did not present their second presentation (due to an excused absence) on June 3rd to present. Finally, you will prepare a social issue presentation about one of the questions of the social issue survey that you should have answered from June 10th. Please make sure that you have answered this survey before coming to class. Today you and your partner will choose one of the social issue survey questions as your research. Why do your classmates agree? Why do they disagree? (Ask them). Then present your results to the class in an objective and balanced manner. Kind regards, Chris Elvin
