July 8th lesson
Dear students,
Today there will be three activities. First, if you have not done so already, please present a student-led activity. (Soon there will be no time left, so I hope you find the time to do this). Second, you will finish your social isssue persuasion presentations. Finally, you will prepare your fourth presentation in random groups.
Your topic for your next presentation is everyday things. The purpose of this presentation is to focus on being interesting - even if what you are talking about is normal in our lives. In order to be interesting, you should research well and say something new to your audience.
There is also one minor point which applies only to some of you. Some presentations appear to be essays. They have had either no slides, or just dull, typed slides. You will be clearer and more interesing if you convert your concept map or outline into an organized and colorful presesentation.
